SUB- PROMOTEE IRS OFFICERS.

Dear friends,namaste.
 1. The promotee Central Excise IRS officers being our members, message was received from
some places that PAOs are objecting the pension of the promotee ACs being retired this month
 asking vigilance clearance/NOC for these officers from Board level instead of local level. Due
to this objection, these officers will not be able to get pension immediately which is a very serious
matter. The matter has been raised before the Board authorities today immediately after
receiving the message. The Board authorities were kind enough to respond immediately
 telephonically to ask the feedback on the issue. The required action has already been
initiated accordingly by the Board authorities.Thanks to them for their kind and immediate
 response.
2. All are again requested to kindly be serious for sending funds to the Association.
3. All of the members are again requested to make due & immediate efforts to achieve
 the revenue target like ever. I hope that we should be able to collect the revenue above
 the fixed target like every past year.

Sub: Pension & retirement benefits to the promotee Asstt. Commissioners retiring this month.

Madam,
As the message received from some places and matter already raised before your goodself,
 it is submitted with due regards that the PAOs are objecting the pension& retirement benefits
 of the promotee Asstt. Commissioners retiring this month saying that the vigilance
 clearance/NOC is required from the Board level instead of local level in their case.
 As conveyed to the Association, the relevant communications have already been
 sent to the CBEC from some zones in this regard. It is also worth to submit that
these officers were recently promoted in the month of October, 14 based on the
recent vigilance clearance.
2. In view of the above, it is requested to kindly take the necessary steps on the issue
 and direct the PAOs not to get the officers retired without the grant of the pension &
 retirement benefits.
