DRI, India rescued exotic birds, Macaws & Kookaburra (native to Australia) smuggled from Bangladesh & seized u/Customs Act r/w Wild Life Protection Act. Birds were handed over to Wild Animal Rescue centre for safekeeping & transfer to Kolkata Zoo
