DRI Bangalore, seized 1600 kgs of shark bones destined for Hong Kong. National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow confirmed the bones were of 3 species (Thresher Shark, Short fin Mako Shark & Silky Shark), listed in Appendix-II of CITES and restricted for exports
