2. Mumbai South Commissionerte anti-evasion team , has booked a case of non payment of service tax and GST on man power services & business support services; have recovered Rs. 11.5 cr of service tax and Rs. 31 Cr of GST. Further investigation is in progress.

   On 29.10.2018 the Officers of AIU Trichy made seizure of 6 pcs of rectangular shaped Gold rods weighing 599 Gms valued at Rs. 19.10 Lakhs from a passenger arriving from Singapore.

   In another case, on 26.10.2018 the Officers of AIU Trichy seized US Dollars valued at Rs. 1.91 Crores from one passenger bound for Kula Lumpur. The passenger was arrested. The Officers were appreciated by Shri. Ranjan Kumar Routray, Chief Commissioner.
